The Pointe (Grades 6 - 12)
The Pointe Student Ministry exists to come alongside families to point students to Jesus and see their lives changed by the power of the Gospel.
At The Pointe, we believe the Bible teaches that the home is God’s primary place for children to learn gospel truths, develop a biblical maturity, and gospel understanding. We believe God has gifted to parents the role of primary spiritual shepherd of their children.
Puritan Jonathan Edwards, a revivalist preacher, author and profound theologian; wrote concerning the home that, "Every Christian family ought to be as it were a little church consecrated to Christ, and wholly influenced and governed by His rule. And family education and order are some of the chief means of grace. If these fail, all other means are likely to prove ineffectual. If these are duly maintained, all the means of grace will be likely to prosper and be successful." We see this instructed in Deuteronomy 6:4-9.
