Title: Joyful Generosity
1 – Harvest of Generosity (9:6)
- Biblical Truth: You reap what you sow (Proverbs 22:8, Hosea 8:7)
- So what do we reap (produce) from joyful generosity? Before answering this question the Apostle paul talks about our HEART (Motivation) of Generosity and our HOPE (Trust) of Generosity.
2 – Heart of Generosity (9:7)
- “Decide in your heart” -generosity with joy, not under compulsion.
- Joy in generosity expresses a heart of contentment in God.
3 – Hope of Generosity (9:8-11)
- God is able to make ALL grace ABOUND – ALL sufficiency – in ALL things – at ALL times, that we may ABOUND in EVERY good work.
- God supplies the money, will, and joy for our generosity.
- Joyful generosity motived by a hope in God produces gratefulness to God in others.
4 – Harvest of Generosity (9:12-15)
- (1) Meets the Need (9:12)
- (2) Leads to Worship (9:13)
- (3) Spiritual maturity (9:13)
- (4) Deep Relationship (9:14)
