More Than A Parade | Palm Sunday
Steve McKenzie

Palm Sunday is often remembered as a parade—but it was so much more. In Matthew 21:1–11, we find a city bursting with anticipation, a crowd filled with mixed emotions, and a King riding not to take power, but to give His life.

This sermon walks us into the heart of the moment. Some in the crowd cried out in worship, others came with political motives, and many watched with quiet curiosity. But all were confronted with the same question: Who is this man?

Jesus entered Jerusalem as the fulfillment of prophecy—the humble King, the gentle Savior, the Lamb of God. He didn’t demand pure hearts before coming. He came for hearts just like ours—divided, distracted, and in need of mercy.

Come and see Jesus as He truly is, and let that vision move you from the crowd to a place of true worship.
