CRUSHING CONFLICTS

  • Jesus “withdrew” – to retreat from battle
  • “Our Lord, being truly a man, felt pain of hatred intensely with its emotional discomfort and pervasive alienation… The truth is, he was also man, and really did feel immense, inescapable pain and stress” (Kent Hughes).
CROWDED EXPECTATIONS
