Mark 6:30-56

  1. Jesus calls you to be alone with him (6:30-32)
  2. In pursuing solitude with Jesus, distractions await (6:33)
  3. Compassion is a Spirit-produced work (6:34)
  4. God responds when we get to a place of acknowledging our insufficient (6:38)
  5. Our strength comes when our hearts are transformed in the presence of God (6:46)
  6. Jesus calls his followers to abandon self-sufficiency to embrace God-ward dependence (6:52)
  7. Jesus responds to desperation (6:55-56)
