[2] Made in God’s Image
Steve McKenzie

In Genesis 1:26-27, we encounter a profound truth: humanity is uniquely created in the image of God. This sermon explores how being made in God’s likeness imparts both an inherent value and a significant responsibility to every person. Unlike the world’s shifting definitions of identity and worth, Scripture provides a foundation that elevates human dignity above all creation. As God’s image-bearers, we are called to reflect His character, rule over His creation, and represent His glory. Yet, due to sin, this image is marred. The good news is that through Jesus Christ, the perfect image of God, we are being restored to our original purpose. This message challenges us to see ourselves and others through the lens of God’s design and to live in a way that honors the One whose image we bear.
