Dead, But God…
Steve McKenzie

“You were dead… but God.”

These five words hold the greatest hope the world has ever known. In Ephesians 2:1-10, Paul makes it painfully clear: our problem isn’t just that we make mistakes, or that we need to try harder. Our problem is death—spiritual death. Left to ourselves, we follow the world, the enemy, and our own sinful desires. No amount of effort can change that.

But God…

The gospel is not about self-improvement—it’s about resurrection. God, rich in mercy and love, makes dead people alive in Christ. This changes everything: our identity, our purpose, and our future.

In this sermon, we unpack what it means to be radically saved by grace, what our new identity in Christ looks like, and how we can live as people who have already been seated with Him in victory.

➡️ Watch now or listen on the go. Be encouraged, be challenged, and most of all—be reminded of the grace that changed your story.
